Handles help get a grip on biplane
The Jenny has no brakes, so when the engine is fired up, crewmen can hold onto the big training airplane until the flyers are ready to go. And when the plane comes in for a landing, crewmen can catch and maneuver the aircraft for the pilot.
We use the handles to move the Jenny around in our hangar. On a delicate, cloth-covered airplane, it makes a great place to grab to carefully coax the aircraft into position.
