Light snow possible Sunday night as cold weather returns

Much cooler temperatures expected next week, according to the National Weather Service. A cooling trend is expected from Monday through at least Thursday as an air mass with origins in the Yukon spreads into western Washington.
The temperature is expected to drop, beginning on Monday and continuing through Thursday. The forecast predicts the coldest weather around the mid to late part of the week.
By Wednesday temperatures are expected at about 15 degrees below normal for early February.
Winds are also expected.
Snow showers or flurries are possible from Sunday evening to early Monday. No significant accumulations are expected, a weather service representative said.
