VANCOUVER, Wash. — A Vancouver, Wash., veterinary clinic says it’s hoping to locate a Yorkshire terrier missing since her Oregon owner was killed in a storm-related Interstate 5 pileup in southwest Washington.
The Columbian reported that the East Padden Animal Hospital posted a photo of the missing dog named Daisy to its Facebook page.
The Washington State Patrol says Matthew Scott, 39, of Tualatin, Ore., died in the crash last Thursday that involved 28 vehicles. Seven other people were injured. A fierce winter storm brought snow and treacherous driving conditions to much of the Northwest.
The newspaper says the dog was wearing a collar with tags.
