EVERETT — A shooting at a south Everett convenience store Monday night sent one man to the hospital.
The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
The shooting occurred at a 7-Eleven in the 700 block of 112th Street SE.
Two men were witnessed arguing before the gunfire, Snell said.
One of the men fired “numerous shots” and hit the victim once before running away, he said. The victim’s age was not immediately available.
A police dog could not track down the suspect who was described as black and in his late teens or early 20s. He was reported to be wearing a green hat and black jacket.
A second man also ran from the scene. He might have been with the suspect but was not a participant in the shooting, Snell said.
The incident occurred near the door of the store, Snell said.
