If you haven’t listened to Joseph yet, get ready to just fall in love with this band. Joseph is three sisters from Portland who are about to release their debut album, “Native, Dreamer, Kin.” In the meantime they dropped a little taste of the new album on us yesterday with their new music video for “Cloudline.”
The video, which is beautiful, is another from the production company Ransom and Reason who are responsible for all of my favorite music videos right now and it contains footage from Motopony frontman Daniel Blue’s wedding.
This is the first studio track I have heard from Joseph and it more than lives up to their incredible live performances. Their debut album was already one I was extremely excited about before hearing “Cloudline” but now I really can’t wait. It isn’t a stretch to expect very big things from these ladies in the near future.
If you like what you hear and need some last minute Valentine’s Day plans, then you are in luck. Joseph plays at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center tonight and there are still a few tickets left at only $8 each. You won’t want to miss this.
