Horticulture and culinary herbs talks: The Edmonds Floretum Garden Club Feb. 24. meeting includes a presentation on the Dunn Gardens and a program on culinary herbs with master gardener Joan Helvacka. The meeting begins at 11 a.m. with a social hour and bake sale, a brown-bag lunch and the program at 1 p.m. at the Brackett Room, Edmonds City Hall, 121 5th Ave. N., Edmonds. Seattle Home Show: The spring home show takes place through Feb. 23 at CenturyLink Field Event Center, 1000 Occidental Ave. S., Seattle. Model homes on Idea Street include Coast Cabins of Snohomish. Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays and noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets are $12 adults, $8 seniors (60+), $3 juniors (7 to 15), under 7 free. Plant sale: The Snohomish Conservation District is taking orders for the 2014 Conservation Plant Sale that will take place March 1 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe. Everett Home &Garden Show: Comcast Everett Events Center show takes place from noon to 7 p.m. March 7, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 8 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 9 at the events center at Broadway and Hewitt. Port Susan Home &Garden Show: The first Port Susan Home &Garden Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 8 and the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. The show features speakers local land use, energy audits, and architecture and landscape design; demonstrations; vendors; and a talk at 2 p.m. by Ciscoe Morris on spicing up your garden this spring.
