Regarding the article, “Hagel proposes big cuts in Army in 2015 budget”: Reducing the military size will not save money. Those who are “kicked” out and those who will not be allowed to enter the military will probably be unemployed and will probably be on government assistance. The money saved by the military reduction will then be spent to fund the government assistance programs. Perhaps it would be better to keep the military at current levels where the money is spent for doing something useful. Oh, I forgot, that makes too much sense.
