Gas Stations

How about help at pump for elderly?

Let me say at the outset that I really admire independent, capable people. I am not one of them.
Why wouldn’t it be feasible for gas stations to dedicate one gas pump and operator to serving the disabled and elderly population? I am in both of those categories. I am 80 years old (how’d that happen?) and have had multiple orthopedic surgeries, making it difficult to climb in and out of the car, as well as standing any length of time.
And while I’m in a complaining mood, how about putting sidewalk “cuts” on both sides of handicapped parking spaces. Sometimes it’s the driver who is disabled and sometimes it’s the passenger.
Thanks for listening.
