Get into character: Citizens for the Camano Island Library is hosting the Great Storybook Jubilee to bring attention to the library’s funding problems. Families are invited to come dressed as favorite storybook characters for a contest and to participate in a storytime, crafts, scavenger hunt and prizes, free coffee and lunch, music and face painting. The event is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday near the Adventure Playground at Terry’s Corner.
