MUKILTEO — Nate Littrell scored the go-ahead goal in the 62nd minute to lead Kamiak to a 2-1 victory over Lynnwood in a Wesco 4A South match played on Friday night, helping the Knights take over sole possession of first place.
“The ball kinda popped out to Nate who plays defense for us,” said Kamiak head coach Kosta Pitharoulis. “He got the ball from pretty far out and just shot and got it just under the bar.”
Kamiak, which got its first goal from freshman Jason Kim, got an assist from Cascade. The Bruins earned their first league win with a surprising 4-0 win over Jackson Friday night.
Riley Johnson tied the game at 1-1 eight minutes into the second half for the Royals.
