Arlington High School football player Max Gray has organized a “flash football” game to raise funds for the family of Jovon Mangual, who died in last week’s landslide in Oso.
The game, which is a version of two-hand touch football that allows players to throw the football in all directions at any time, according to Gray, will be played on Friday at 11 a.m. at Arlington H.S. To participate, players must bring a donation, with those bringing the largest donations being named captains.
Gray said that all the funds donated will go to Mangual’s mother, Jonielle Spillers, who lost her husband, Billy Spillers, and daughters Kaylee and Brooke Spillers in the tragedy.
