Just out of high school, I purchased a ’55 Chevy, and I’ve been driving GM vehicles exclusively ever since. My next vehicle, however, will most likely be a Ford product, given all the GM failures, lies and denials by the dishonest and uncaring people in charge.
A few years ago I purchased some GM stock at $4 per share and some Ford stock at $3 per share. Today the Ford stock is at $16 and my GM shares were declared worthless when they declared bankruptcy, and were bailed out by our heavily lobbied government. Today, after reorganization, the stock is worth $35, of which I have zero.
Now GM claims they should not be held responsible for any claims by the victims’ families for any accidents or fatalities that occurred because at that time they were owned by the government!
Meanwhile, the lies about the knowledge of the cheap, faulty parts just goes on, and the head honchos collect their obscene compensations.
Maybe the government won’t let them fail, but we can. Just don’t buy their cars and trucks.
