SNOHOMISH — Sehome High School senior Nash Boyd scored the game-winning goal with just over four minutes remaining in the fourth period, boosting the Sehome-Bellingham lacrosse team to an 8-7 victory over Snohomish.
Snohomish took a 7-6 lead into the fourth period but was unable to hang on in a chance to hand Sehome-Bellingham its first loss of the season. Gabe Girgus finished with a team-high three goals for Snohomish.
The matchup was part of Snohomish Lacrosse Club’s Homecoming Weekend that included 16 boys lacrosse teams from the first grade to high school level. Over 370 players participated in the day-long event held at Glacier Peak High School.
