Cornerback Marcus Trufant, a Tacoma native who spent most of his NFL career in Seattle, has-resigned with the Seahawks so he can retire with the team. Trufant will have a press conference at team headquarters Thursday to make the announcement.
Trufant, who starred at Washington State before coming to Seattle as a first-round pick in 2003, spent his first 10 seasons with the Seahawks before signing with Jacksonville last season. The Jaguars released Trufant at the end of training camp.
