EDMONDS — Kendra Cooper hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning for what turned out to be the game-winning run as Edmonds-Woodway defeated Mount Vernon in the Wesco 4A game. Jackie Lovelace (1-for-2) scored both runs for the Warriors. Mount Vernon pitcher Paityn Cyr allowed just one earned run and two hits over six innings.
