If you missed it over the weekend, several celebrities and athletes, including Seahawks Richard Sherman and Russell Wilson, were in attendance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Sherman has some pictures and a bit about the night over at his website, Richardsherman25.com.
The highlight of the night, at least for Seahawks fans, came when President Barack Obama had a little fun with Sherman, imitating Sherman’s infamous, “Don’t you ever talk about me,” postgame rant from the NFC championship game.
And if you’re bored at work, Obama’s entire speech/standup routine is here. It’s pretty funny stuff, though just how funny you find certain jokes probably depends on your political leanings.
Actor/comedian Joel McHale, who grew up in the Seattle area and attended the University of Washington, also made a couple of Seahawks jokes in his routine.
