The very precise and beautiful art of Japanese flower arranging has been passed down for centuries.
The Mill Creek Ikenobo Group, along with Mill Creek Parks and Recreation, is offering a chance to see arrangements created by local masters and advanced students, watch demonstrations and even take a lesson.
The free exhibition takes place from 1 to 5 p.m. June 1 at Mill Creek Annex Building 15720 Main St.
More than 30 fresh flower arrangements will be on display. The free hourlong lesson begins at 2 p.m.
