Cruzin’ to Colby: Cruzin’ to Colby, a two-day festival of classic cars, returns to Everett’s Colby Avenue on Sunday and Monday. Get the details in our story here.

Blues: Northwest blues legend Curtis Salgado returns to Everett — his birthplace — on Saturday evening for a concert at the Historic Everett Theatre. Get details here.

Folklife: The annual Northwest Folklife festival is Friday to Monday in Seattle. There’s live music, arts and crafts, dance demonstrations, art displays and more. Details here.

Tea party: Keeping it Green Nursery in Warm Beach offers an afternoon tea party in the garden from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The garden is at 19400 99th Ave. NW. Free tea and cookies will be served. Kids are welcome. Master gardeners will be available to answer questions. Tea pots will be hidden in the garden and those who find them all will be entered in a drawing for a gardener’s basket.

Magic of music Join composer and pianist Amy Rubin for an exploration of the creative process. She will present an interactive concert, culminating in a group-directed improvisation. The event is from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Mukilteo Library.

Run and beer: Join other runners and walkers for a workout followed by a 5K followed by the best part, beer and socializing. Meet at 2 p.m. Saturday at Scuttlebutt in Everett. $10 gets you a beer and snacks. Get details here.

Camp: Decided you want to go camping but don’t have a spot yet? Here are some tips to help you find a nice place to stake a tent.

Pugs: The Seattle Pug Rescue’s Pug Gala is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe. There will be a parade of rescued pugs, raffles, pug talent show and agility drills. Admission is $5 to $10; 5 and younger and dogs get in free, but only pugs and pug mixes permitted. Details here.
