Lyndsay Leatherman
Sports: Basketball, Track
The lone senior on this year's basketball team led the Eagles to the state tournament for the second straight year and also won state titles in the discus and the javelin and took second in the shot put. Leatherman is headed to UW to compete on the track team.
Cascade
Paige Miller
Sports: Softball
The Bruins second baseman was an All-Area first-team selection after leading Cascade to a strong season.
Coupeville
Breeanna Messner
Sports: Volleyball, Basketball, Softball
The Coupeville Girls Athlete of the Year was a Cascade Conference all-league selection in softball, a team captain on all three teams, including the volleyball and basketball teams.
Darrington
Amy Miles
Sports: Volleyball, Basketball
The two-sport star was a Northwest 1A/2B League all-league first-team selection in basketball and an All-Area first-team selection in volleyball after leading the Loggers to a third-place finish at state.
Edmonds-Woodway
Djenne Dickens
Sports: Cross country, Swim, Track
The three-sport star qualified for the state swim and track and field meets all four years as a Warrior and was also a regular at the state cross country meet in the fall. Her six state track and field medals are the most in school history.
Everett
Tenika Wentworth
Sports: Volleyball, Basketball, Track
The three-sport star was an All-Area first-team selection in volleyball and helped the Seagulls during a tumultuous season in which they played with no home court and went 5-2 in five-set matches.
Glacier Peak
Nicole Fausey
Sports: Basketball, Track
The Grizzlies post was an All-Wesco first-team and All-Area second-team selection after leading the Grizzlies to a district championship.
Jackson
Anna Pischer
Sports: Cross country, Track
The Dwayne Lanes Athlete of the Year award winner took sixth in the triple jump and eighth in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles at the state meet and also ran in the state cross country meet. Pischer, a two-time class president, is headed to the University of California-Davis.
Kamiak
Jenna Gilbert
Sports: Tennis
The two-time team captain was a Wesco champion in doubles (with partner Elizabeth Norris) and placed seventh in doubles at the 4A state tournament. Gilbert volunteers at church and at a local hospital and maintains a 3.987 grade point average. Gilbert is headed to Whitman College to play tennis.
King's
Kacey Kemper
Sports: Cross country, Track
The Knights runner was a state champion in the 1,600-meter run with the seventh-best time in 1A state history and was second in state in cross country with the sixth-best time in 1A state history.
Lakewood
Kiana Smith
Sports: Softball
The Cascade Conference co-Offensive Player of the Year was an All-Area second-team selection at shortstop for the second straight year and homered in two of Lakewood's district playoff games to nearly lead the Cougars to state.
Lake Stevens
Ivy Jacobson
Sports: Basketball, Golf
The two-sport athlete was the Snohomish County Women's Basketball Officials Association's co-Player of the Year and was a state participant in girls golf. Jacobson was a Cliff Gillies Award nominee.
Lynnwood
Jasmin Edwards
Sports: Basketball, Softball
The Herald's Girls Basketball Player of the Year led Lynnwood to its best finish at the girls basketball state tournament (third place) and was an All-Area first-team selection on the softball team. Edwards is headed to Central Washington University to play basketball.
Mariner
Diana Dinh
Sports: Volleyball, Basketball
The four-year letter winner in both sports played large roles on both teams all while maintaining a strong GPA and volunteering in the community. Dinh is headed to UW to study pediatric oncology.
Marysville Getchell
Kelsee Crenshaw
Sports: Soccer, Track
The two-sport star was an All-Area first-team selection after leading the girls soccer to its first playoff appearance and led a pair of relay teams to the state meet. Crenshaw is headed to Washington State University to play soccer.
Marysville Pilchuck
Amanda Klep
Sports: Soccer, Basketball, Track
The three-sport star was an All-Area first-team selection in girls soccer after leading the Tomahawks to the state tournament and led three relay teams to the state meet, including the 1,600-meter relay team that finished second. Klep is headed to Concordia University to play soccer.
Mountlake Terrace
Maddy Kristjanson
Sports: Soccer, Basketball, Softball
The three-sport star was an All-Area first-team selection as a shortstop on the softball team and an All-Wesco second-team selection as a post after leading the Hawks to a state regional berth.
Shorecrest

Sports: Basketball, Track
The two-sport star was an All-Wesco first-team selection as a post on the girls basketball team and finished fourth in the discus at the state meet.
Shorewood
Salyna McDonald
Sports: Soccer, Basketball, Track
The three-sport athlete earned 10 letters over her four years and finished sixth in the girls heptathlon at the Washington State Combined Events Championship.
Snohomish
Trysten Melhart
Sports: Softball
The Herald's Softball Player of the Year led the Panthers to the state tournament for the first time in her career at Snohomish. Melhart is headed to the University of Washington to play softball.
Stanwood
Mariah Orcutt
Sports: Volleyball, Wrestling, Tennis
The Stanwood Female Athlete of the Year earned 12 letters in her career at Stanwood and was a state participant in girls tennis as a senior. Orcutt is headed to Southern Oregon University after earning a AA degree from Skagit Valley College.
Sultan
Courtney Morris
Sports: Basketball, Softball
The two-time Sultan Female Athlete of the Year was a Cascade Conference all-league first-team selection after leading the softball team to the state tournament for the first time and was voted team MVP of the girls basketball team.
Tulalip Heritage
Katia Brown
Sports: Basketball
The basketball star was a Northwest 1A/2B all-league first team after leading the Hawks to the state tournament. Brown maintains a 3.6 grade point average and volunteers her time in the community.
