Safe Harbor Free Clinic, which provides urgent medical care and referral to low-income and uninsured patients in Snohomish, Island, and Skagit counties, is recruiting volunteers. Edmonds run registration open: July Fourth is just around the corner. It’s time to make plans for Edmonds’ annual summer holiday tradition, the 5-kilometer fun run and walk. The event begins at 10 a.m. at the Edmonds City Park at Third Avenue S and Pine Street. Registration is $30. Registration forms are available online at www.edmondswa.com.
Summer safety event: Molina Medical Clinic is hosting and a free summer safety event in south Everett from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 28. The event is intended to educate the public about summer safety, including drowning prevention.
There will be free smoothies, child safety kits, bike helmet checks and raffles for a bike. Free bike helmets will be available to the first 75 people. The clinic is at 15 SW Everett Mall Way.
