PORT ORCHARD — Authorities say one man has been killed in a shooting involving police behind a strip mall in Port Orchard.
Kitsap County sheriff’s Sgt. Ken Dickinson says Port Orchard police responded to a call Thursday night at the Southpark Plaza Mall.
The Kitsap Sun reported that investigators confirm one man was shot in an alley behind the mall.
Port Orchard Police Chief Geoffrey Marti says one officer is being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
The sheriff’s office is investigating.
Port Orchard is west of Seattle.
