The Seahawks announced Tuesday that they have released defensive tackle Andru Pulu, an undrafted rookie out of Eastern Washington. Pulu, a Federal Way native, began his college career at the University of Washington but was dismissed from the team following an assault charge and transferred to Eastern.
Pulu’s chances of making the team—and those of any defensive tackle on the bubble—took a hit earlier this month when the Seahawks signed veteran DT Kevin Williams, a six-time Pro Bowler with the Vikings.
The Seahawks did not announce a corresponding move, so they currently have one spot open on the 90-man roster.
