Can they come over to our yard next? To control weeds near Alderwood mall, Lynnwood has deployed 110 goats instead of resorting to using herbicide.

The goats' owner has given all 110 beasties names that include Guinness, Ernie and Ringo. The Buzz would simplify things and just name them all Roundup.

Never the Twain shall meet: Recently retired “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno will be the 17th person since 1998 to receive the Kennedy Center's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

David Letterman, Conan O'Brien and Leno's many other detractors may disagree with the award, but look at it this way: The last time Jay Leno was funny, Mark Twain was still alive.

Is Tommy Chong driving? Entrepreneurs driving a food truck loaded with edible marijuana treats plan to test Snohomish County laws this weekend with a visit to south Everett.

But instead of driving to Everett, the cannabis caravan should head east to the Kennedy Center and make sure everyone in the audience gets a pot brownie. That way, they might even laugh at Leno's jokes.
