EVERETT — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a homeless convicted sex offender who has failed to register.
Kevin Scott Miller, 45, is a Level III offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend. He has two convictions for aggravated sexual assault from Canada related to incidents in the 1990s.
A warrant for his arrest was issued Friday, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. He has recently been seen in Arlington and Marysville.
In one conviction, Miller gave a ride to a 14-year-old girl, used a rope to choke her until she was unconscious and sexually assaulted her. The second case involved Miller choking and sexually assaulting a woman he met at a nightclub.
He is described as white, and about 6 feet tall and 175 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.
Anyone who sees him should call 911.
