Hand grenade found in fridge during drug raid in Puyallup
Prosecutor Mark Lindquist says the State Patrol Bomb Squad safely removed the live grenade.
Officers also found a MP-5 sub-machine gun with the selector switch set to “full-auto.”
The prosecutor says 26-year-old Joshua Lobben was arraigned Friday on drug charges, unlawful firearm possession charges and one count each of possession of an explosive device and unlawful possession of a machine gun. He pleaded not guilty. Bail was set at $1.5 million.
In Wednesday’s raid, officers executing a search warrant found heroin, meth, assorted other drugs and $13,000 cash.
Lindquist says Lobben has three prior felony convictions and is prohibited from possessing firearms.
