EVERETT — A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run Sunday afternoon in Everett.
“She got thumped pretty hard. I heard it and jumped up,” said Chris Gravesen, a bystander.
He saw a white sedan driving west on 41st Street away from the scene. The car made the first right and drove off, he said. “It was hauling ass so fast to get out of here.”
The car had turned from Colby Avenue.
“She had the right-of-way,” he said.
Gravesen and others rushed to help the woman, who appeared to be in her mid-30s, he said.
The woman was scratched up but was able to stand, Gravesen said.
She was taken to a hospital.
No information on her condition or the incident was available from Everett police, who are investigating it.
