Last month I posted the new single “There is a Light” from Seattle’s Rose Windows which was featured on a 7-inch released through Sub Pop Records. Today the band released the new music video for “There is a Light” and it is pretty wild. I watched this video at about 6am on just a few hours of sleep and couldn’t tell if I was actually awake yet or still dreaming.
The video stars Everett’s own Bradley Davis and takes us on a psychedelic journey through his dreams which start out in a dark, cultish and maybe even satanic church and work toward a happier and lighter feeling but still pretty cultish church and ends with Davis waking up from these terrifying dreams under a bridge with Rose Windows guitarist Nils Peterson.
Rose Windows will be taking off for Europe this month but will be returning home to perform at Bumbershoot in September. Get your copy of the “There is a Light” 7-inch here.
