With the Fourth of July having come and gone, and six days of continuous allegedly illegal fireworks being set off, it is high time to ban the possession, discharging, transportation of individual fireworks. Just how many more injuries, displaced pets, anguished veterans? And what sum of money must go up in smoke? Ask those who have been injured! Now I am walking the beaches and finding fireworks debris everywhere. Enough is enough. Let the organizations find an alternative source of miniscule income and make the fireworks manufacturers concentrate on the many fine and far superior free shows available. How many fires are we paying to fight? How many homes do we have to rebuild? The injuries suffered are insanely painful. Please support all attempts to get a total ban legislated.
