There was some great news at the end of trading on Wall Street Friday. The price of oil has dropped 3 percent this week. Since July, the price has actually dropped almost 5 percent.
I am confident the price of gas will drop at least 30 cents per gallon at the pump next week just as it went up 30 cents per gallon in June when oil prices skyrocketed.
Well, I just woke up from my dream and sadly remembered that is not exactly how it works with the big oil companies. Oil prices go up and the price at the pump goes up. Oil prices come down, and oh, so sorry, we have to shut down some refineries for maintenance so prices at the pump will have to remain up.
Welcome to corporate America.
