This Saturday night at The Cannery in downtown Everett will be a night loaded with music from the singers of three of the most popular bands in the pacific northwest. Daniel Blue of Seattle’s Motopony, John Van Deusen of Anacortes band The Lonely Forest and John Bowers of Portland’s Nurses will each perform a solo set.
Anytime Motopony comes to Everett the house is packed and it will likely be the same with their front man Daniel Blue coming to town. Regardless of if you are a fan of Motopony or you have never seen Blue perform before, he is one of the most entertaining artists you will ever find, anywhere, and you shouldn’t miss this chance to see him in such an intimate setting.
In May, The Lonely Forest announced the sad news that they were going on an “indefinite hiatus” and their last show together would be at Bumbershoot later this summer. It is unclear what’s next for Van Deusen, but this will be a great chance for fans of The Lonely Forest to see him before the big changes take place.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door.
