Iconic pair of WWII fighters to perform at SkyFair
The fast and formidable Vought F4U Corsair, with inverted gull wings and recognizable “hose nose,” was one of the premier fighters in the Pacific.
Lockheed’s P-38 Lightning, with twin-engines and double booms, was the workhorse that flew all over the globe during the fighting.
This recognizable pair is “guest starring” at FHC’s SkyFair next Saturday. The rare aircraft are flying up from the Planes of Fame Museum in Southern California and will perform only at SkyFair.
