We need Nunez to stay as treasurer

I have been a citizen of Oak Harbor for over 30 years of my life. I follow Island County politics very closely because it affects us all. I personally know the current Island County Treasurer Ana Maria d Nuñez and I strongly endorse Ms. Nuñez for Island County Treasurer. Ana Maria’s safeguarding of tax payer dollars and wise investment portfolio is helping Island County through the toughest financial times our country has seen in over 75 years.

I am proud of the achievements and positive changes Ms. Nuñez has made during her time in office. She continually listens to her staff and the citizens to enhance the office, making changes for improved service to the public and county offices. Her education and experience as a CPA and a Masters of Accounting and Financial Management provide her with the abilities to work and lead one of the accounting offices in the county. Ms Nuñez is the kind of person who inspires confidence in our local government. If you want the best for Island County mark your ballot to re-elect Ana Maria d Nuñez as our Treasurer.
