Call AAA? The Washington State Ferry Tacoma reportedly lost power Tuesday afternoon in the middle of its run between Seattle and Bainbridge Island. The ferry dropped anchor while it waited for a tow back to shore.
“Darn,” said the 405 passengers on board, who found seats on the sun deck, flipped down their sunglasses, got out a book and sent an email to the boss telling him they weren’t sure when they’d be back on land.
