EVERETT — Snohomish County Planning and Development Services offices were closed Wednesday after an employee died at work.
The 42-year-old man collapsed at his desk shortly after arriving, county spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. Paramedics were summoned, and resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.
The man had worked for the county for three years. His name was not released Wednesday.
“This is a particularly difficult time for Snohomish County employees, especially Planning and Development Services staff,” Hover said.
Planning offices were expected to reopen Friday.
