EVERETT — The “Mother of All Garage Sales” is Saturday.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 2, people can check out yard sales across northwest Everett. The bonus is that the sale takes you on a stroll among some of the city’s nicest homes.
The sixth annual Northwest Everett Neighborhood Association event is a good way to pick up a variety of household goods placed out for sale by more than 100 families.
The sale stretches from 23rd Avenue north to Legion Park and from Grand Avenue to east of Colby Avenue.
Look for the “Mother of All Garage Sales” signs. Maps also will be available at Drew Nielsen Neighborhood Park at 13th and Colby. Portable toilets will be stationed there, as well as at 15th and Rucker and at Legion Park, 145 Alverson.
