EUGENE,ORE.— Eugene’s Aaron Bousfield hit a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Emeralds to a 7-6 victory over the Everett AquaSox in a Northwest League game Saturday night.
Bousfield’s home run capped a 3-for-4 night as the Emeralds evened the five-game series at 2-2. Eugene reliever Colby Blueberg picked up the win. Leoncio Munoz was charged with the loss for the AquaSox (18-32)
A five-run fifth inning gave the Aquasox a 6-3 lead, but the Emeralds rallied for three runs to tie the score in the bottom of half of the inning.
