AquaSox beat Dust Devils 3-1

PASCO — Adam Martin hit a two-run double in the seventh inning and three Everett AquaSox pitchers combined to scatter seven hits as the Sox defeated the Tri-City Dust Devils 3-1 on Sunday night.
Brett Ash and Trey Cochran-Gill threw 5 1/3 innings of three-hit, scoreless relief of starter Ryan Yarbrough, as the Sox held Tri-City to just one first-inning run. Ash earned the victory to move to 2-1 on the season, and Cochran-Gill picked up his fourth save.
The Sox tied the game at one in the top of the fourth inning on consecutive doubles by Corey Simpson and Phillips Castillo off Dust Devils starter Ryan Castellani.
Martin, Simpson and Andy Peterson each had two hits for the AquaSox.
Dylan Thompson (3-2) took the loss for Tri-City.
