MARYSVILLE — Firefighters tamped down flames that damaged a house in Marysville on Sunday afternoon.
The fire was reported just before 3 p.m. at 10110 Shoultes Road.
Crews do not know what caused the blaze, which started on the second floor of the building. The fire caused an estimated $75,000 in damage, Battalion Chief Scott Goodale said.
No one was hurt. The house appeared to be abandoned and firefighters did not find anyone inside, he said.
Crews extinguished the flames in about 15 minutes.
