EDMONDS — Police are asking for tips to help them solve a vandalism spree last week at Hutt Park.
Up to 100 trees were damaged, many with apparent chopping marks, police Sgt. Mark Marsh said. It appears the damage was done over several days and likely involved multiple suspects.
It was reported to police about 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Anyone who knows something should call 425-771-0200.
“The charge and crime would be malicious mischief and likely a felony due to the number of trees damaged or ones that had to be replaced,” Marsh said.
