Channel-surfing the vast cultural wasteland: A concert celebrating the fashion world, “Fashion Rocks,” is scheduled for 9 tonight on CBS, with appearances by Jennifer Lopez, Miranda Lambert, Duran Duran, KISS and others.
Disaster was narrowly averted earlier today after the wrong makeup and costumes were delivered to the dressing rooms for Lopez and KISS. However, Gene Simmons and Lopez did decide to go ahead and wear each other’s heels.

Mama mia: To mark the return of its annual $9.99 Never Ending Pasta Bowl deal, Olive Garden restaurants began selling a limited supply of all-you-can-eat Pasta Passes. For $99, the Pasta Pass entitles the holder to unlimited pasta meals for seven weeks.
During Olive Garden’s promotion, Metamucil also is offering a seven-week supply of its laxative for $99, and is also calling it the Pasta Pass.
