We’re off to see the wizard once again.
Dorothy and friends will skip down the yellow brick road in hi-def this time in special screenings for the 70th anniversary of “The Wizard of Oz.”
The classic film will be shown at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Alderwood 7, 3501 184th St. SW, Lynnwood, and at Pacific Place 11, 600 Pine St., Seattle.
The remastered high-definition screening features an introduction by Turner Classic Movies host Robert Osborne. The film will be followed by a special feature, “To Oz! The Making of a Classic,” which includes interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and rare musical outtakes.
