Washington state is going to pot

So this is what Washington state has come too. Now we have pot conventions where you can sample the product like it was just akin to a food festival. Won’t be long and the whole country will follow. All the terrorists coming after us have to do is wait a few years until the whole population is so stoned they won’t care what happens to them.

Guess I am just too old to understand where we are headed. I grew up in a time when just sneaking a normal cigarette was a no-no. I really feel sorry for some of these potheads who will be left behind while other normal people surge ahead and get to lead the country. At least I hope its not the stoners leading. I am happy that in least in my family my three kids have stayed away from pot and are leading successful lives.

Now if pot helps those in pain and its used for medical purposes that’s a different story, but those that use it just to get high are no different than those that abuse alcohol. Been there, done that, was in the Navy. I’m sure in the near future we will see more car wrecks and deaths do to people driving while high. It’s really a shame when people only look forward to their next hit instead of getting ahead in what ever they do. God I feel sorry for those people, more wrecked lives, more deaths and more homeless stoners.
