MOSCOW, Idaho — A northern Idaho man charged with killing his estranged wife and dumping her body in the Snake River has been found guilty of first-degree murder.
The jury on Wednesday also found Charles Capone, 53, guilty of failure to notify a coroner or law enforcement officer about a death.
The 2nd District Court jury deliberated a day and a half before determining Capone of Moscow killed Rachael Anderson, 40, from Clarkston, Washington, in April 2010. The body of the mother of four hasn’t been found.
A co-defendant last week testified that he witnessed Capone kill Anderson and then helped dispose of the body in the Snake River.
