Regarding the letter, “It is not de facto gun registration”: I am not sure what fantasy world the writer is living in; he wrote about I-594. I am not going to recite a bunch of facts I found on the Internet. If I-594 isn’t about gun registration, I don’t know what is. I will only ask one question: If I owned guns how would the government know what guns I own? If I don’t register them they would never know.
So if you don’t register your guns, passing I-594 can never be enforced.
