Landon Ferraro

  • Forward
  • Hometown: Vancouver, B.C.
  • Years in Everett: 2010-11
  • As a Silvertip: Acquired during an offseason blockbuster trade, Ferraro captained the Tips as a 19-year-old in his one season in Everett. However, it was an injury-plagued season and he finish with 10 goals and 17 assists in 41 games.
  • Last season: Ferraro received a late-season call-up when the Detroit Red Wings were dealing with injuries and appeared in four games without scoring. He spent the majority of the season with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League, registering 15 goals and 16 assists in 70 contests.
  • This season: He’ll try to crack Detroit’s roster, but will have plenty of competition.

Radko Gudas

  • Defenseman
  • Hometown: Kladno, Czech Republic
  • Years in Everett: 2009-10
  • As a Silvertip: He was a beast in his one season in Everett, tallying seven goals, 30 assists, 151 penalty minutes and innumerable highlight-reel hits as a 19-year-old rookie. After the season he was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the third round of the NHL draft.
  • Last season: Gudas played his first full season in the NHL and was a regular member of Tampa Bay’s defense, putting up three goals, 19 assists and 152 penalty minutes in 73 games.
  • This season: He’s once again slated to be a regular on Tampa Bay’s blue line.

Ryan Murray

  • Defenseman
  • Hometown: White City, Saskatchewan
  • Years in Everett: 2009-12
  • As a Silvertip: Murray appeared in parts of five different seasons with Everett and became arguably the best player in franchise history, twice captaining the team and finishing with 22 goals and 99 assists in 191 games. He was selected second overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2012 NHL draft.
  • Last season: He made his NHL debut and was one of the best young defensemen in the league, tallying four goals and 17 assists in 66 games.
  • This season: He’s expected to take another step forward and become an even more vital part of Columbus’ defense.

Kent Simpson

  • Goaltender
  • Hometown: Edmonton, Alberta
  • Years in Everett: 2008-12
  • As a Silvertip: Simpson played in parts of five season in Everett, spending two-plus seasons as the No. 1 goalie. He finished his Everett career 71-71-11-10 with a 3.02 goals against average, .911 save percentage and six shutouts. He was selected in the second round of the 2010 NHL draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
  • Last season: He was called up briefly by Chicago and got into one game in relief, allowing two goals on seven shots in his one period. He spent most of the season with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League, with whom he went 11-14-1 with a 3.64 goals against average and .891 save percentage.
  • This season: He appears destined for a return to Rockford.

Leland Irving

  • Goaltender
  • Hometown: Swan Hills, Alberta
  • Years in Everett: 2004-08
  • As a Silvertip: Irving still holds many Everett goaltending records and compiled a 107-62-12 record with a 2.05 goals against average, .925 save percentage and 21 shutouts in his four seasons, three of which he was the starter. He was selected 26th overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2006 NHL draft.
  • Last season: Following five seasons in the Flames organization, he headed to Finland, where he played with Jokerit and was 23-18-12 with a 2.14 goals against average and .922 save percentage.
  • This season: He’s in training camp with the Tampa Bay Lightning on a tryout.

Mirco Mueller

  • Defenseman
  • Hometown: Winterthur, Switzerland
  • Years in Everett: 2012-14
  • As a Silvertip: Mueller spent two seasons as a key member of Everett’s defense, registering 11 goals and 47 assists in 123 games. He was selected 18th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2013 NHL draft.
  • Last season: He completed his 18-year-old season in Everett, tallying six goals and 25 assists in 63 games as Everett’s top stay-at-home defenseman. He finished the season by playing nine games for the American Hockey League’s Worcester Sharks, dishing out two assists.
  • This season: He’s hoping to crack San Jose’s roster as a 19-year-old. If he doesn’t, he’ll be back in Everett.

Peter Mueller

  • Forward
  • Hometown: Bloomington, Minn.
  • Years in Everett: 2005-07
  • As a Silvertip: A player who could take over a game offensively, Mueller notched 47 goals and 89 assists in 103 games during his two seasons in Everett. He was selected eighth overall in the 2006 NHL draft by the Phoenix Coyotes.
  • Last season: He went to Europe and played for Kloten of the Swiss elite league, putting up 24 goals and 22 assists in 49 games. He also played for the U.S. at the World Championships, tallying a goal and three assists in eight games.
  • This season: He is hoping to return to the NHL after signing a one-year, two-way contract with the St. Louis Blues.
