EVERETT — Last week, ground crews at Paine Field redid a giant 12 in the grass between the control tower and Boeing’s flight line. It’s not the compass heading for a new runway. It’s just Paine Field showing its Seahawks pride.
The airport put marked the 12 in the run up to the last Superbowl, which, in case you were in a coma, the Hawks won.
Paine Field staff touched it up in hopes of seeing the Seahawks claim another Superbowl championship.
