Both directions of Highway 522, from the Snohomish River bridge to Highway 2, will be closed the nights of Sept. 26 and 27 as part of WSDOT’s lane-widening project near Monroe. There have been one-lane closures so far. The ramp from Highway 522 to Highway 2 continues to be closed around the clock.

WSDOT has now posted closure times. Here’s the latest:
Both directions of SR 522 will be closed 10:30 p.m. Friday Sept. 26 to 10 a.m. Saturday Sept. 27 and again from 10 p.m. Saturday Sept. 27 to 10 a.m. Sunday Sept. 28 between Highway 2 and Fales and Echo Lake roads.
In addition, 164th Street/Main Street will be closed between the existing and new roundabout from 10:30 p.m. Friday Sept. 26 to 5 a.m. Monday Sept. 29. The existing (east roundabout) will remain open.
