SEQUIM — The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe is donating a totem pole to the new City Hall in Sequim.
The Peninsula Daily News reports the design by a tribal artist will tell the tribe’s sun origin story to explain why the sun always shines in Sequim.
The 30-foot Western red cedar log comes from the Hoh River Valley and will be mark the tribe’s partnership with the city.
