Jennifer Pharr Davis, an author, hiker and speaker, will talk at six local venues, mostly libraries, over the next week and a half.
Davis will be talking about her new book, “Called Again.”
Davis set a record for the fastest known hike of the Appalachian Trail, hiking it in 46 days. In 2012, she was named one of National Geographic’s Adventurers of the Year.

- Clinton Community Hall, Saturday, 3 p.m.
- Lynnwood Library, Wednesday, 7 p.m.
- Monroe Library, Oct. 4, 11 a.m.
- Sultan Library, Oct. 4, 2:30 p.m.
- Darrington Library, Oct. 8, 6:30 p.m.
Books will be available for signing and the events are all free.
