We’re working our way through the football season and we’ve already reached Week 5, which boasts some key league matchups. Vote for The Herald’s Game of the Week below:
Monroe vs. Kamiak Goddard Stadium, 7 p.m.
Monroe comes into the game with a perfect 4-0 record. Both the Bearcats and Kamiak have opened their Wesco 4A schedules with back-to-back league wins and look to continue that streak in Friday night’s conference showdown.
Marysville Getchell vs. Marysville Pilchuck Quil Ceda Stadium, 7 p.m.
The third annual installment of the Berry Bowl, featuring the Marysville crosstown rivals. Marysville Pilchuck is 2-0 in the Berry Bowl, including a 43-13 victory over the Chargers last season.
Lynnwood vs. Edmonds-Woodway Edmonds Stadium, 5 p.m.
The two Edmonds District schools are both looking for victories to stay afloat in the incredibly difficult Wesco 3A South. Lynnwood is 1-1 in league play and 3-1 overall while the Warriors are still winless (0-2) against Wesco 3A South teams – and are 1-3 overall.
